Candidates have 200 multiple-choice questions to answer at this time. Candidates receive one mark for each accurate response when it comes to scoring. The drawback is that negative marking is used. For every wrong answer, 1/3rd (0.33) of a mark will be deducted, so it’s essential to answer accurately.
The NORCET examination is divided into four distinct sections. First, there’s “Subject Knowledge,” comprising 70 questions. Then, “General Aptitude and General Awareness” test your broader knowledge with 30 questions. “Fundamentals of Nursing Informatics and Computing” and “General English” each have 20 questions. Candidates can opt to take the exam in either English or Hindi, depending on their comfort and proficiency. To qualify for consideration, candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks determined by AIIMS, which serves as the benchmark for success.
