Al Nassr reach full verbal agreement with Ziyech to join till 2026

Ziyech

Fabrizio Romano reveals that Al-Nassr has reached a verbal deal with Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech.

On Twitter, Fabrizio Romano stated that Al-Nassr has reached a verbal deal to sign Chelsea player Hakim Ziyech. The former Ajax Amsterdam footballer has agreed to a contract extension until 2026.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who Al-Nassr signed in January, is already one of the top players in the world. The addition of Ziyech to the roster will make life easier for the team in the future.

Ziyech had already stated his desire to leave Chelsea during the winter transfer window when he was on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain. It appears that his future will be spent in the Middle East.

The transfer to PSG was halted owing to contract difficulties at the final minute. Ziyech was signed from Ajax after a successful season with the Dutch giants in 2018-19. Unfortunately, he has not been able to reproduce the same results in Blue.

Now, the former Ajax attacker will depart after 107 appearances, 14 goals, and one Champions League triumph. Ziyech will join former Chelsea star N’Golo Kante at Al-Ittihad, while a number of other players have been linked with a move to the Saudi side.

His exit will allow the Blues to dump a significant portion of his earnings while still complying with the Financial Fair Play guideline. He will, hopefully, be one of many Chelsea players to call the Middle East home.

Although he may not have had much of an impact on Chelsea, Ziyech is a fantastic talent who never quite found his feet at the club. Playing in a weaker league will be easier, and he will undoubtedly help Ronaldo’s goal of making a name for himself in Asia.

It goes without saying that selling Ziyech and freeing up salary bill space will assist the Blues financially. Because we haven’t made a summer signing yet, let’s hope we can get rid of any extra unused players before June 30 to balance the budget.
