Burnley is preparing a bid for Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Burnley boss Vincent Kompany worked with Lokonga at Anderlecht and wants to carry him to Turf Moor.

The Sun says the Clarets will seek to shop for the Belgian outright.

Lokonga became unnoticed by Arsenal’s tour squad and has been made available this summer season.

He spent the second half of the ultimate season on a mortgage with Crystal Palace, although struggled to make an effect.
