Chelsea have reached full agreement to sign Nicolas Jackson

We have it confirmed! According to Romano, Chelsea has finally secured an agreement to purchase Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal.

Jackson had 13 goals and 5 assists in 38 games for Villarreal last season.

The 22-year-old forward is thought to have been the subject of conversations over the last week or so, with Villarreal wanting Chelsea to pay his €35 million buyout clause in full. Chelsea preferred that the payment be made in installments.

However, according to Romano, the two have reached an arrangement in which Chelsea will pay somewhat more than the clause amount in order to split the payments over the course of Jackson’s contract.
