Concession stand brawl added to AEW Dynamite

Jeff Jarrett challenged Mark Briscoe

Wednesday’s  AEW Dynamite will feature a concession stand match as well as a TBS Championship match.

On Saturday’s Collision, Jeff Jarrett challenged Mark Briscoe to a concession stand battle. In a mixed tag match on Rampage, Jarrett, his wife Karen, and Jay Lethal faced Mark Briscoe, Papa Briscoe, and Aubrey Edwards, with Edwards defeating Karen. Jarrett mentioned the Tupelo concession booth incident in his promo and stated that there would be no Karen or Sonjay, only himself and Briscoe.

A TBS Championship match was also scheduled, with champion Kris Statlander defending against Taya Valkyrie. On Rampage, Valkyrie accused Statlander of stealing her thunder after Statlander defeated Jade Cargill for the title at Double or Nothing.

The business has also set a ‘blind eliminator tournament’ for Wednesday, with the victors competing for the AEW Tag Team titles. The tournament’s participants have not been revealed.

Minoru Suzuki will also return to AEW, joining Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara in a match against Action Andretti, Darius Martin, and AR Fox. On Wednesday’s Dynamite, Jericho offered that he and Guevara form a team when tensions between the two began to rise.

The following is an updated lineup for Wednesday’s Dynamite:

  • Kris Statlander defends against Taya Valkyrie in the TBS Championship.
  • In a concession stand scuffle, Jeff Jarrett takes on Mark Briscoe.
  • Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, and Minoru Suzuki compete in a blind elimination tournament for a crack at the World Tag Team title against Action Andretti, Darius Martin, and AR Fox.
