Daniel Farke named new manager of Leeds United

Daniel Farke

Daniel Farke has been named as Leeds United’s next manager ahead of the Championship season.

Following relegation, the Elland Road team will play a season in the English second level.

Farke has rapidly returned to managing after being fired as manager of Borussia Moenchengladbach.

He’s something of a promotion specialist, having led Norwich to the top flight twice. He could be just what Leeds need.

“I’d like to thank everyone for the very warm welcome; I’m very grateful to be working for this amazing club right now,” he remarked.

I am feeling modest at this time; I am aware of the duty to meet all expectations, and I want to repay the faith exhibited.

The most important thing is to reestablish togetherness and unity within our club, and I will begin working on it with my staff and players today, and I am confident that our supporters will be there when we need them.

“I’m looking forward to the first game of the season.”
