DONE DEAL: Brentford fullback Fin Stevens joins Oxford

Fin Stevens

Fin Stevens, a Brentford fullback, has joined Oxford United on a season-long loan.

Oxford will rely on Stevens’ versatility next season.

Oxford manager Liam Manning stated, “It’s an incredible story to go from playing in the Isthmian League with Worthing to playing in the Premier League before the age of 20.” Fin has a positive attitude and a bright future ahead of him, so we are delighted to have him on board and look forward to working with him.”

I met the gaffer and listened to his vision, Fin told oufc.co.uk. It has the vibe of a club on the rise. Liam has a reputation for playing good football, which appeals to me, as does the opportunity to play consistently, learn from experience, and be a part of a very successful season – everything appears to be geared towards that.”

Ed Waldron, Head of Recruitment, commented, “We’ve seen him play right-back, left-back, and holding midfielder and he’s been excellent in each role.” He has a winning attitude and is an excellent leader.”
