Eric Bischoff ‘Less Than Impressed’ With Jack Perry at Forbidden Door: ‘He Should Not Have Been on That Show’
WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff answered fan questions on the latest “83 Weeks” podcast. Bischoff and Conrad Thompson also discussed the Forbidden Door pay-per-view, Eric’s hair loss for charity, Top Guy Weekend anecdotes, and more.
Bischoff expressed his displeasure with ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry’s performance at Forbidden Door.
“I was not impressed.” I don’t understand. I don’t want to be negative, but Jungle Boy’s work, as I tweeted last night, demonstrates that he can’t crack an egg with a hammer. He simply didn’t seem believable to me, to the point where, I don’t want to say, he made me embarrassed to be a wrestling fan, but he was out of place. He had no business being on the show. I’m not sure what it is.
“He looked uninterested, is how I felt about it,” Bischoff added. I don’t know what else to say. He appeared to be avoiding touch with his forearms and some of the items he was laying on. I’m hoping it was just a bad night because if that’s an example of some of his best work and him coming up for a big show in front of a big crowd, I don’t know what to say guy. It makes no sense to me.”
Perry turned heel on HOOK after the match, and the two will now feud. Bischoff has nothing but praise for the Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay match. To view their comments, go here.
