Florentino Perez and Ancelotti’s dream player Kai Havertz set to join Real Madrid
Real Madrid are planning a summer revolution, expecting to secure many deals to strengthen their attack for next season.
Los Blancos have recently lost Marco Asensio, Mariano Diaz, Eden Hazard, and Karim Benzema in the previous two days and are looking to add many attackers to fill the voids in their assault.
They are trying to sign up to four forwards, with three specific players making the rounds in transfer rumors. Harry Kane, Kai Havertz, and Joselu are their names.
Kane is the club’s major goal in bolstering the striker position, while Joselu will mostly serve as his backup, filling the role Mariano Diaz was brought in to fill.
Meanwhile, Havertz is a ‘dream’ for Florentino Perez and Carlo Ancelotti, and according to BILD, the midfielder is on his way to Real Madrid.
Havertz is set to leave Chelsea this summer, with the club desperate for funds through player sales. Their spending last summer landed them in hot water with the FFP, which might lead to a slew of difficulties.
Chelsea paid more than €80 million on the German three seasons ago, and while they are aware that they will not be able to recoup the entire investment, they still want ‘significant’ money to let any of their starting lineup players to leave.
As a result, the Blues have ruled out any loan moves for Havertz and will only consider a permanent departure from Stamford Bridge.
However, Madrid does not consider Havertz to be a number nine. He is regarded as a player who can play between the lines.
His statistics also show his ineffectiveness lack front of goal, with the player failing to reach the ten-goal mark in the Premier League in each of his three seasons with Chelsea.
