Former Manchester United player ‘may be reunited with Ronaldo at Al-Nassr’

CRISTIANO RONALDO might be preparing to welcome a former Manchester United teammate to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo, 38, signed a £173 million-a-year contract with the Middle Eastern club in the middle of this season.

He left Old Trafford with his tail between his knees after a long feud with the club and manager Erik Ten Hag.

However, Al-Nassr may be about to make another surprise signing of left-back Alex Telles.

This season, the Brazilian defender, 30, has been on loan with Sevilla.

It follows the arrival of Tyrell Malacia as Luke Shaw’s backup left-back.

Brandon Williams is another option for Ten Hag in that position.

According to AS, Al-Nassr has chosen Telles as someone they want to sign a long-term contract with.

He still has one year left on his Man United deal, which he signed in 2020 when he joined from Porto for £15.4 million.

His weekly salary of £100,000 has reportedly turned off numerous clubs.

However, Al-Nassr does not see this as a problem as they seek to bring the Brazilian superstar to Saudi Arabia.

Telles has appeared in 32 games for Sevilla this season and was also included in Brazil manager Tite’s World Cup roster, where he made one start.

Al-Nassr is second in the Saudi Pro League, three points behind leaders Al-Ittihad.

Ronaldo has 12 goals in 15 appearances with the club.
