Good news as Fabrizio Romano throws shade over one big Chelsea claim
This morning, some positive news was received regarding a potential Chelsea transfer deal that was in the works.
Chelsea fans were driven into a frenzy this morning after a rumor in Portugal suggested that Chelsea’s new highly regarded midfielder Andrey Santos was set to join Porto on loan, with an option to buy.

However, the usually trustworthy Fabrizio Romano has already cast doubt on this one, tweeting out in response to the rumors this morning.
While Porto likes Santos, there is no agreement with Chelsea, according to Romano, and he will be evaluated by new manager Mauricio Pochettino before any choices are taken.
Porto appreciate Andrey Santos since January, they asked for him twice — but at the moment there’s no agreement with Chelsea 🔵🇧🇷 #CFC
Porto like Andrey and they’d love to have him on loan but Chelsea have not decided anything.

As you can see, it’s a bit of nothing because even if something does happen in terms of a loan move, I strongly doubt there will be any option to buy in, and it won’t happen shortly before Pochettino sees him play a bit.
