Heart Events: Abigail
Just like any other character in the game, Abigail also has her heart events in Stardew Valley. They impact the gift-giving process, which further progresses the story, and keeps the players engaged in the game. The following are the Heart Events for Abigail:
Two heart event
Players require two hearts with them to activate the cutscene where you can enter an NPC’s room. To do this, head to the General Store in the morning, where Abigail will be present to activate this cutscene.
Four heart event
During this event, make your way to the Mountain between 12 pm and 7 pm when it’s raining. Avoid doing so in the winter as snow does not count.
Choose your answer as “Enjoying the weather” to foster additional friendship.
Six heart event
This is a comparatively easier event. All you need to do is reach Pelican Town between 9 pm and midnight where you’ll see Abigail standing in the Graveyard.
Selecting the dialogue option “Yes, and it’s exciting” or “Yes, but only in self-defense” will boost your friendship.
Eight heart event
This event will first trigger upon receiving a letter from Abigail, hinting at you to meet her in the General Store. Enter the store between 8 pm and 10 pm to get the heart event.
Ten heart event
The ten-heart event only begins after giving Abigail a bouquet and before giving her the Mermaid’s Pendant. To trigger the event, you will need to be at the Quarry mine or the traditional mine between 5 p.m. and midnight.
Asking her if she is okay will add to your friendship and following that with “I get scared too” will give you the best bonuses for this event.
Fourteen heart event
This is the last event available with Abigail. Head into the Backwoods between 6 am and 5 pm and a lovely event that has no impact on the friendship as a whole will be triggered. It’s only meant to reflect the intensity of your relationship with Abigail.
Marrying Abigail
After reaching ten hearts with Abigail, players are eligible to marry any character in the game. Through a letter by Mayor Lewis, players will be informed that people in this world can propose to their partners with a necklace called ‘The Mermaid’s Pendant”. Players can only buy this pendant if they’re eligible for marriage.
If Abigail accepts this pendant, then this means that you both are engaged, and your marriage is set for three days after the proposal.
