Following an agreement made between the two clubs, it appears like Ajax defender Jurrien Timber is on the verge of joining Arsenal.
Timber’s brother accidentally announced the signing when he shared a photo on Instagram of a farewell party for the player.
Timber’s portrait was on a board wearing an Arsenal shirt, with the caption: “Jurrien’s Goodbye party! “I’ll see you on London’s streets.”
The post was eventually removed, possibly because they realized they weren’t supposed to disclose anything until it was formally declared by the clubs.

The Gunners, who came close to winning the league last season but were upset by Manchester City, appear determined to compete again this season.
Manager Mikel Arteta has already strengthened his team by bringing in Kai Havertz from Chelsea. The team has also reached an agreement with West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.
