John Morrison attacks Billy Gunn on AEW Rampage
On Rampage, John Morrison rejoined AEW, siding with the QTV team.
When Harley Cameron and two masked men appeared, The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass (Billy Gunn) were celebrating after winning a match. Cameron then performed a rap, claiming to be better than The Acclaimed. QT Marshall appeared on stage and distracted The Acclaimed, who was exiting the ring. Morrison was shown to be one of the masked guys who attacked Billy Gunn. Morrison was dubbed “Johnny TV” by Excalibur as QT and Aaron Solo assaulted the Acclaimed from behind, with the broadcast concluding with the QTV team cheering in the ring.
Morrison made many appearances for AEW as Johnny Elite in 2022. He competed in the Owen Hart Foundation men’s competition last year, losing in the first round to Samoa Joe. He later defeated Marq Quen in an AEW Dark match before losing to Miro on the June 1 edition of Dynamite. He’s also appeared in AAA, MLW, Warrior Wrestling, and GCW in the recent year.
