The puja pandal will be located near Lalbaug Police Station in Lalbaug, South Mumbai. Along Dinshaw Petit Lane and then along GD Ambekar Marg close to Kala Chowki, queue for the Charan-Sparsh forms.

Lalbaugcha Raja Mukh Darshan

There will be 2 different queues for Mukh Darshan and Charan Darshan to avoid the unnecessary crowd during the festival. Make sure you are in the correct queue of traffic first. The Mandal offers both Mukh Darshan and Navas Charan-Sparsh Darshan, depending on how close you wish to be to the Lord.

Mukh Darshan Join this queue if you don’t mind viewing the idol only briefly and from a few meters distance. The waiting period may last for 6–7 hours.

Navas or Charan-Sparsh Darshan: The Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati is often referred to as the wish-fulfilling Ganpati or Navasacha Ganpati. For those who want to touch the idol’s feet for blessings, there is a wait here. More in demand, the wait period typically lasts 12 to 15 hours.

Lalbaugcha Raja Live Darshan

It is expected that this time 3000+ trained volunteers will be available in the pandal to make the darshan ceremony safe and convenient for all. The volunteers have been split up into many departments, each of which is responsible for a different task, such as manning the entrances, lines, housekeeping, shoe maintenance, and the PA system.

The Mandal and the lines are both well-ventilated, so there will be no suffocation problem for devotees. Additionally, there is clean drinking water available, tea and coffee, a first-aid kit, and medical personnel from nearby public and private hospitals.

The Mandal authorities have estimated figures that around 2Cr people will come for worship at Lalbugcha Raja on Ganesh Chaturthi. The queue will be long and you may have to wait for a full day to get darshan in the temple. Apart from weekends, Tuesday can be expected to face a huge crowd.

The Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav Mandal has provided funding for several initiatives throughout the years. These facilities include a dialysis facility where patients can get the service for as little amount. There are higher chances to face the crowd whichever day you choose for the Darshan but it is expected that Mondays and Wednesdays could have less crowd in comparison to other days.
