Lukaku: Man City star Haaland has Messi, Ronaldo characteristics

Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku believes Erling Haaland of Manchester City has the potential to be one of the game’s greats.

On Saturday, the two will square off in the Champions League final.

“He is ready to take the last step and dominate the football world,” said Lukaku to TV2.

“He knows what he wants and he is really good at what he does. He and Manchester City are the perfect combination.

“I’m really happy that another striker is coming forward, because it will be a great competition between us.

“It’s something you rarely see. We have had Messi and Ronaldo, and Haaland’s hunger is reminiscent of theirs.”
