Man Utd boss Ten Hag blocks Luton push for Heaton

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has barred Tom Heaton from leaving.

Championship clubs as well as Premier League newcomers Luton Town have expressed an interest in the experienced goalkeeper.

Ten Hag, on the other hand, is unwilling to sanction Heaton’s exit because he is unsure whether David de Gea would sign a new contract.

De Gea is set to become a free agent at the end of the season.

Heaton, 37, has just finished his second season at United after rising through the club’s youth system.
