Manchester United made an unexpected goalkeeping offer this week.
The Red Devils are rumored to have made a 2.5 million euro bid for Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir.
According to Sports Digitale writer Murat Zorlu, Bayindir, 25, may be considered a backup goalkeeper at United next season.
Last season, the seasoned shot-stopper appeared in 26 games in the Super Lig.
United is pursuing Andre Onana as their top priority to replace out-of-contract veteran David De Gea.
Dean Henderson, the Red Devils’ second goalkeeper, is also expected to leave because he wants to join Nottingham Forest on a permanent basis.
