Manchester United ‘closing in’ on Rasmus Hojlund deal

Rasmus Hojlund

Manchester United’s pursuit of Rasmus Hojlund may be moving…

The Red Devils are “closing in” on a deal for the 20-year-old forward, according to the Daily Mail. There was no charge, but Fabrizio Romano indicated final night that Atalanta needed roughly €70 million to approve Hojlund’s departure.

The Serie A club is also disinterested in any participant-plus-coins deals that United has previously proposed – they only want cash.

Ten Hag is eager to competently bolster the squad.

Tonight’s replacement comes nearly 24 hours after United announced an agreement with Andre Onana worth €50 million. He will go to England in the coming days to complete his physical as the club finalizes all of the necessary paperwork to make him Erik Ten Hag’s second signing of the summer.

It was always expected that the manager would turn his attention to a striker after securing a new No.1, so expect further Hojlund updates or new links in the coming weeks.
