Mbappe: I already said that I will continue next season at PSG where I’m happy

Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe, the attacker for Paris Saint-Germain, has stated that he has not requested to leave the club this summer.

Earlier on Tuesday, Le Parisien reported that Kylian Mbappé (24) could join Real Madrid this summer, but the France captain has denied the reports and reaffirmed his intention to play for Paris Saint-Germain next season.

Mbappé’s bombshell letter to PSG’s administrative council yesterday reinforced Mbappé’s decision not to activate a one-year extension. As a result, the AS Monaco academy product’s contract with Les Parisiens expires next summer, and the club is apparently prepared to sell Mbappé this summer in order to avoid losing a highly valued asset on a free transfer.

After failing to recruit Mbappé at the Bernabeu last summer, Foot Mercato reports that Real Madrid will try again this summer, with the club’s President, Florentino Perez, already in communication with the PSG forward.

Then, according to Le Parisien, the interest was mutual, and Mbappé intended to join Real Madrid this summer. The France captain, on the other hand, has turned to Twitter to reject the story, quoting the article in question and saying: “Lies… Simultaneously, the larger it (the story) is, the faster it passes. I’ve previously stated that I will remain at PSG next season, where I am content.”

Mbappé certainly wants to finish the final year of his contract in Paris, but if PSG wants that is another story.
