Neymar’s dad ‘ARRESTED over environmental crime after carrying out banned work’

According to reports, NEYMAR’s father, Neymar de Silva Santos, has been arrested by Brazilian police.

He was allegedly detained for “environmental crime” after allegedly performing banned work on Neymar’s mansion in Mangaratiba.

According to Uol Sport, Neymar Senior was apprehended during an operation conducted by Mangaratiba City Hall and the Civil Police in response to a complaint concerning environmental crime.

His detention followed a dispute with Mangaratiba’s environment secretary, Shayenne Barreto.

According to the story, Neymar Senior was freed, but those in charge of the operation needed “more education.”

According to reports, Barreto imposed a fine of five million Brazilian reals (£822,000). The issue appears to come from an artificial lake he allegedly built, which supposedly “promotes deforestation, rock breaking, and river diversion.”

The construction of the lake would involve a variety of environmental violations, including “diversion of a watercourse, unauthorized abstraction of river water, unauthorized abstraction of water for artificial lake, earthworks, excavation, and movement of stones and rocks.”

The operation is alleged to have been led by the Mangaratiba Municipal Environment Department.

The Environmental Military Police and agents from the municipality’s Environmental Protection Group are said to have assisted them.

Neymar has issued a public apology to his pregnant girlfriend Bruna Biancardi.

The couple apparently began dating in 2021 and married in January 2022.

Neymar, 31, of Paris Saint-Germain, and Biancardi, 29, announced in April that they were expecting their first child.

However, there appears to be trouble in paradise as Neymar posted a photo of them together on Instagram accompanied a lengthy apology.

“Bru, I do this for both of you and your family,” the former Barcelona forward wrote.

“Justify the unjustifiable. No need to. But I need you in OUR lives.

“I saw how much you were exposed, how much you suffered with all of this and how much you want to be by my side. And I stand beside you.

“I made a mistake. I did wrong with you all.“I dare say that I make mistakes every day, on and off the pitch. But my mistakes in my personal life I resolve at home, in my privacy with my family and friends…
