The Ivorian center-back chose the number five jersey in Rome and will soon join the squad to begin preseason training for the upcoming season.
Ndicka expressed his happiness and ambitions to Roma in the announcement.
“The project that was presented to me, as well as the club’s history and prestige, encouraged me to come to Rome, a fantastic city that loves and lives for football.”
“I can’t wait to take the field at the Stadio Olimpico in front of my new fans and contribute to the achievement of our goals.”
Roma general manager Tiago Pinto expressed the club’s delight with the arrival of the 23-year-old Ivorian defender.
“Despite his young age, Evan has already gained important experience in one of the most prestigious leagues and with a European title achieved as a protagonist. He was a particularly sought-after player at international level and we are very happy that he has chosen to wear the Roma shirt.”
“Despite his young age, Evan is already a mature player with a wealth of experience from one of the most prestigious leagues and he also played a key role in his previous club’s European success.”
