John Skyler beat Reid Flair to proceed to the final, which was a three-way match between Skyler, Zack Salvation, and Kyle O’Reilly, which Salvation won. Skyler then formed The Love/Hate Machine with Steven Walters. The pair competed in the WrestleForce Tag Team Series to become the first WrestleForce Tag Team Champions but were defeated by Playboy’s House of Style (Michael Frehley and BJ Hancock) in the finals. Skyler and Walters would win the WrestleForce Tag Team Challenge Gauntlet Match at WrestleForce’s Fall Brawl 4: A Date With Fate, defeating Jon Malus and Crimson to win the WrestleForce Tag Team Titles.
