Adolfo Margarito Tapia Ibarra, often known as La Parka, was born in Santiago de Queretaro, Mexico, on November 14, 1965, and died on January 12, 2020. He was 54 years old when he died and was born under the sign of Scorpio. He was of Mexican heritage and was previously of mixed race.

Adolfo was born in Mexico to Mexican parents. Raymundo Ibarra and Camila Ibarra Banda gave birth to him. El Hijo de Cien Caras, his brother, was also a professional wrestler.

Adolfo began his professional wrestling career in 1982, at the age of 16, with his real name. In 1988, he changed his ring name to El Asesino de Tepito. He changed his ring name back to Principe Island after a few years, which he used until 1992.

Then, in 1992, she discovered Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion (AAA), a new wrestling business where he proposed rebranding Tapia as La Parka. Then, in 1996, he won the World Championship and became a wrestling household name. In 2000, he left the WCW. He then returned to AAA in 2010, beginning with a plot pitting the original La Parka against the new La Parka. In his first match back in the ring, he defeated La Parka, winning the right to be recognized as La Parka once more.
