Wrestling Federation of the World (first run, 1991-1992)

Sid Vicious made his WWF television debut as Sid Justice on the July 20, 1991, episode of WWF Superstars. He was announced as the special guest referee for that year’s SummerSlam main event, in which The Ultimate Warrior and then-WWF Champion Hulk Hogan faced The Triangle of Terror (Sgt. Slaughter, Col. Mustafa, and Gen. Adnan) in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match. Later that night, Sid protected “The Macho Man” Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth from an attack at the newlywed couple’s wedding by The Undertaker and Jake “The Snake” Roberts. Before facing Jake, Sid had a brief feud with The Undertaker. Sid hurt his biceps in a match with Roberts and was unable to wrestle at Survivor Series 1991.

Sid Vicious entered the 1992 Royal Rumble Match as number 29, with the winner taking the vacant WWF Title. He made it to the Final Four, along with Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, and Ric Flair. He defeated Savage and then Hogan over the top rope, leaving him and Flair alone in the ring. After being eliminated, Hogan grabbed Sid’s arm and distracted him long enough for Flair to remove Sid, win the Royal Rumble Match, and become the new WWF Champion. Sid and Hogan got into a confrontation in the ring after the match and had to be separated by security. Sid was momentarily changed into a jerk as a result of this encounter.

Less than a week later, on the January 25, 1992 broadcast of WWF Superstars, WWF President Jack Tunney held a news conference to decide who would battle Ric Flair for the WWF Championship at WrestleMania VIII, choosing among Sid, Savage, Hogan, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, and The Undertaker. Sid sprang up as though Tunney had called his name before even announcing who the top candidate would be. Tunney, much to Sid’s chagrin, chose Hogan. Sid described it as “the most bogus act Jack Tunney has ever pulled off” after the press conference. Sid later apologized to Hogan, which he accepted.

Sid Vicious and Hogan then joined up to fight The Undertaker and Ric Flair on Saturday Night’s Main Event on February 8. During the bout, after double-clotheslining the Undertaker and Flair, Hogan reached out for a tag from Sid. Sid refused to tag in and exited the bout. The match was won by DQ for Hogan.

Sid Vicious appeared as a guest on Brutus’ “The Barber” Beefcake’s “The Barber Shop” on an edition of WWF Superstars on February 22. Sid assaulted Beefcake and demolished the Barber Shop set with a chair (this was the final Barber Shop segment), knowing that Hulk Hogan (Beefcake’s good friend) was not in the arena. Later that night, it was announced that Hogan would face Sid in the main event at WrestleMania VIII, rather than WWF Champion Ric Flair; as a result, Flair would now face Randy Savage for the WWF Title. Sid hired Harvey Wippleman as his manager a week later.

During their WrestleMania VIII match, Hogan received a near fall after his Atomic Leg Drop on Sid. Harvey Wippleman intervened, leading Hogan to be disqualified, and Papa Shango then attacked Hogan in the ring. Sid and Papa Shango kept double-teaming Hogan until The Ultimate Warrior appeared and saved him.

Sid Vicious’s Wife, Marriage, Children

Eudy married Sabrina Paige (née Estes) on December 30, 1983, in Shelby County, Tennessee. They have two sons: Frank, who appears on the CBS reality show Big Brother 14 & 18, and Gunnar Eudy, a wrestler.

Eudy enjoys softball. Between 1997 and 1999, he played softball during his time away from wrestling. On October 27, 1993, both Eudy and Arn Anderson got involved in an argument in a hotel bar in the English town of Blackburn while on tour in Europe. After being escorted to their rooms by security chief Doug Dillinger, Eudy later came to Anderson’s room and attacked him with a chair leg, to which Anderson reacted with a pair of scissors.

Eudy was stabbed four times, while Anderson was stabbed 20 times, losing a pint and a half of blood in the process. Fellow wrestler 2 Cold Scorpio, who was credited with saving Anderson’s life, broke up the fight. Neither guy filed charges against the other, and British police declined to do so because both men were leaving the country soon. Eudy was later fired as a result of the event.

Eudy was arrested in Shelby County, Tennessee, in January 2011. Eudy was initially pulled over and charged with not wearing his seatbelt, but he was also charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession and driving without a license. He was eventually released on a $1,000 bond.
