Tyrese Jay Francois, an Australian-born professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for the English Premier League team Fulham, was born on July 16, 2000.

Tyrese was born in Campbelltown, New South Wales, which is a suburb of Sydney, Australia’s major city. He has English and Mauritian ancestry through his mother and father, respectively. He first played soccer with Campbelltown Uniting Church Soccer Club when he was 5 years old before switching to Camden Tigers. At the AC Milan Academy Australia, he also received instruction from Andrea Icardi. Tyrese and his family relocated to London, England, in 2013, and he and his brother Marlee Francois enrolled in the Fulham F.C. Academy program there.

Prior to moving to England with his family, Tyrese was born in Campbelltown, Australia.

Fulham (2016-present)

Tyrese, who participated in the U16 competition in 2016–17, joined Fulham on a professional contract on August 1, 2017. He initially spent the first half of the 2017–18 season with the U18 squad, but after some standout performances, he was later promoted to the U23 squad.

As they prepared for life in the Premier League following their promotion from the Championship, the first team squad invited him to spend the preseason with them in the summer of 2018. The following year, on August 27, 2019, he made his first team debut against Southampton in a 1-0 EFL Cup loss at home when he entered the game as a late substitute.

Tyrese made two more first-team appearances in 2020–21, including his League debut on May 23, 2021, against Newcastle United in the season-ending Premier League game. He entered the game as a second-half substitute.

He had a productive preseason in 2021 under new manager Marco Silva and started the opening game of the 2021–22 campaign, playing 83 minutes of a 1–1 draw against Middlesbrough at home.

Tyrese moved to Uzbekistan in the summer of 2022 after leading Australia’s U23 team to the AFC Asian Cup semifinals. He left Fulham after preseason training with the first team and spent the 2022–23 campaign on loan at NHK Gorica in Croatia.\
