Reasons behind second shocking failed transfer revealed

Hakim Ziyech

We all know why Hakim Ziyech’s January deadline move to PSG fell through. Chelsea was so preoccupied with previous moves that there was some miscommunication with key documentation and a deal that would have benefited both teams and the player fell through.

A second move in six months has now fallen through at the final minute for the winger. But what became of his relocation to Al Nassr? The Sun has all the information – we already knew it was a failed medical, but they go into greater depth.

The Saudi club lowered their wage offer by 40% after receiving poor results about the Moroccan star’s hip and knee concerns. Ziyech turned down that offer and will now remain at Chelsea until another buyer can be found within the next few months.

Chelsea were expected to gain roughly £17 million from the transaction, but will now have to re-enter the market to find a new buyer for the wanted attacker.
