PSG now interested in signing Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris
According to the Daily Record, PSG has entered the market to capture Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris.
According to the source, Lloris’ representatives are hopeful that Tottenham will let him depart on a free transfer as a gesture of goodwill after his 11-year tenure with the club.
However, it is alleged that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy intends to pursue a transfer fee from PSG and will not allow Lloris to leave on a free transfer.
Tottenham are widely reported to be actively looking to offload the French goalkeeper during the summer transfer season. The player has also stated that he wishes to leave the club this summer, referring to it as the “end of an era.”
The club has already found a replacement in the form of Guglielmo Vicario, an Italian goalkeeper purchased from Empoli for a reputed sum of £16 million.
He has also been heavily connected with Inter Milan, who have stepped up their pursuit in order to replace Andre Onana, who is close to signing a contract with Manchester United.
