ROH World title match announced for AEW Rampage

Claudio Castagnoli will defend his ROH World Championship on Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage.

Castagnoli will defend his Ring of Honor World Title against Komander on Friday’s show, as announced on Wednesday’s Dynamite. Komander is 0-5 in AEW and 3-2 in ROH, with his only singles victory in either promotion coming against Angelico on the May 4 Ring of Honor TV broadcast.

Hikaru Shida will compete in a women’s division match against Taya Valkyrie on Friday. Valkyrie is fresh off a singles loss to Kris Statlander in a TBS title match on last week’s Dynamite.

Shawn Spears of Canada will compete on Friday’s Rampage in a battle taped Wednesday in Hamilton, Ontario. Spears will compete in singles against The Blade.

Matt Hardy and Brother Zay will team up against QT Marshall and Johnny TV (John Morrison) in a Rampage tag match.

The following shows will air on TNT on Friday, June 30 at 10 p.m. Eastern time:
