Al-Hilal is anxious to sign Bernardo Silva from Manchester City and have told the Premier League winners that they are willing to pay €70 million for the Portuguese midfielder.
According to CBS’ James Benge, the Saudi club has allegedly offered Silva a hefty salary of €50 million per year. However, the Manchester City star has yet to make a decision about his future and is unsure where he will play next season.
PSG, the Ligue 1 champions, are also interested in the 28-year-old, but City will only sell to PSG if they can convince them to part-exchange him for brilliant teenager Warren Zaire-Emery, according to RMC Sport.
Silva has a contract at the Etihad until 2025, and Man City would not stand in his way if the Portugal international wants to test himself elsewhere; nevertheless, the European champions want their asking price matched, which Al Hilal is willing to do.
It is unclear whether Man City would accept a deal if one arrived, and Silva is also unsure whether he wants to transfer to Saudi Arabia in his prime.
