Sergio Ramos Expresses Desire to Conclude Storied Career at Sevilla
Sergio Ramos, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires on June 30, is said to have confirmed his intentions.
According to Cadena SER (via Culture PSG), Ramos has another clear plan: he will join Sevilla FC this summer.
The seasoned defender is likely to want to return to his childhood club. Returning to Sevilla would bring his remarkable career full circle, as he would once again don the iconic red and white uniform.
However, there is a stumbling block. The Spanish club’s manager, José Luis Mendilibar, has not yet decided whether to bring Ramos back.
For the time being, the player’s future is unknown. It is unknown whether Sevilla will give him the chance to complete his career where it all began.
Ramos, a legendary personality in football, spent his formative years at Sevilla. Before making his professional debut in 2004, the 37-year-old rose through the ranks of their junior system.
During his legendary spell with Real Madrid, he went on to achieve significant domestic and international glory. Ramos appeared in 58 games for PSG across all competitions during his two seasons in Paris.
