Raphinha ,winger for Barcelona was spotted with a sign on his vest in favor of Vinicius Junior, who recently suffered racial abuse during a LaLiga match.
The globe has rallied around Vinicius Junior since he was subjected to racial slurs in the LaLiga match against Valencia CF last weekend. The player has experienced a startling increase in disgusting, racially motivated taunts this season.
Raphinha, a Brazilian winger for Barcelona, is the most recent player to publicly back Vincius, who was also dismissed from the game for another reason. The player was observed wearing a vest with a message directed at him on the front during Barça’s most recent loss to Real Valladolid.
What was written on Raphinha’s vest?
“As long as the colour of your skin is more important than the shine in your eyes, there will be a war”, Raphinha wore as he paraded around the Estadio José Zorilla, incidentally or not, one of the grounds at which Vinicius has received racist abuse this season.
Vinicius’ card has been canceled, and Mestalla is partially closed by the RFEF
The Spanish Football Federation has ordered Valencia to close the Mario Kempes stand in their Mestalla stadium for five games, where the racist event took place, in an action that is astonishing in that it actually happened.Additionally, the club was ordered to pay a €45,000 fine.
As previously reported, Vinicius received a red card for fighting with a Valencia player later in the game.It has since been cancelled.
