Willow Nightingale advances in AEW Owen Hart Foundation tournament

Willow Nightingale is the latest player to advance in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament for women.

Nightingale defeated Nyla Rose with a powerbomb in Saturday’s Collision to move to the semifinals. Following the match, The Outcasts (Toni Storm, Saraya, and Ruby Soho) surrounded Nightingale in a circle. As the Outcasts backed off, Skye Blue hit the ring with a steel stair, and Storm exchanged words with Nightingale ahead of their AEW Women’s Championship battle on Sunday’s Forbidden Door event.

Nightingale will face the winner of the match between ROH Women’s Champion Athena and Billie Starkz on Sunday’s Forbidden Door pre-show event. Blue was the first to advance, defeating Anna Jay AS on Rampage on Friday night. She will face the winner of Wednesday’s Dynamite bout between Britt Baker and Soho.

The men’s tournament will kick off at Forbidden Door, with CM Punk facing NJPW’s Satoshi Kojima in the first round.
